About John Young Photography

Hi, I’m John, the owner and lead photographer at John Young Photography. I am a passionate and experienced photographer, specialising in wedding and lifestyle photography.

My photography journey began over 25 years ago, and over the years, I have honed my skills and developed the unique style, that I have today.

As a wedding photographer, I believe in the power of storytelling. Every couple has their unique love story, and my goal is to capture that story that is authentic and beautiful. I strive to create images that are not only stunning but also capture the emotions and personalities of the people in them. I am dedicated to providing my clients with exceptional service, from the first consultation to the final delivery of their images.

A bit about my photography services,  I capture weddings from, £650.00 that’s up to 5 hours on location and includes my editing time. If you’re looking for a passionate and talented wedding photographer I would be honoured to work with you and capture your special moments.

Right from the start I aim to understand your requirements, and when the images have been made available to you,

I am still here to advise you on the best format for your images to be printed, but if you wish, I also offer an in-house printing service and if you require a wedding album I can arrange this.

Three Things About John

Travel

Travel has always been a love of mine, and right from an early age, I found that photography was a passion of mine, being creative and seeking lasting images,  I am lucky to spent some years living in New Zealand, where my photography has taken me to the next level.

Now I am a full-time Wedding and lifestyle photographer, living in a small village in the UK but I still love to travel. 

With tight deadlines to work too, and keeping up to date with technology, photography has become a way of life for me.

Food

I am a foody, food and travel come hand in hand, finding new recipes and new styles of cooking, being creative has helped me with my photography today.

When I am covering a wedding that’s when food is so important, starting very early in the morning, and then finishing late at night, clients forget that we need to eat too, it’s so important to have downtime for food

Walking

Living in the small village of Tarring near Worthing West Sussex UK, I am so lucky to have the stunning coastline to the South and to the North, I have the South-Downs National Park.

As a wedding photographer, it’s so important to keep fit, with great walks around, Tarring there is always something new to experience and some lovely watering holes on the way home
